WEBVTT

1
00:00:04.000 --> 00:00:06.120
The outreach experience has been fantastic.

2
00:00:06.120 --> 00:00:10.110
It is one of the most rewarding aspects of being here in the Philippines,

3
00:00:10.110 --> 00:00:13.120
is to be able to reach out to these young children and inspire them.

4
00:00:13.200 --> 00:00:16.280
I was moved by the reception that we received.

5
00:00:21.520 --> 00:00:23.230
When they heard you guys are coming over,

6
00:00:23.230 --> 00:00:30.990
we couldn't really stop them from calling us, and the list just keeps growing and growing.

7
00:00:30.990 --> 00:00:37.300
The moment that deputy executive director told us that NASA would be visiting us, we immediately said, "Yes!"

8
00:00:39.820 --> 00:00:45.920
NASA is a big thing in the Philippines You guys are like rock stars when you come over here.

9
00:00:45.920 --> 00:00:53.960
I mean, you could see from how they they can't stop taking pictures of you guys, can't stop asking questions.

10
00:00:53.960 --> 00:01:01.000
You know, just looking at the faces a while ago during the event they are very, very excited.

11
00:01:06.160 --> 00:01:13.400
When it came down to the Q&A, I was amazed by how long the queue is for asking questions.

12
00:01:13.400 --> 00:01:18.720
I was surprised at how much they understood about the environment.

13
00:01:18.720 --> 00:01:23.680
And the problems and the challenges that's ahead of us.

14
00:01:23.680 --> 00:01:24.760
And they wanted to help.

15
00:01:24.760 --> 00:01:26.960
And they were asking, "How can I help?"

16
00:01:26.960 --> 00:01:28.280
I loved it!

17
00:01:28.280 --> 00:01:30.800
You guys really got their attention.
